WELCOME

The Security and Cryptography Laboratory (LASEC) was created at EPFL in 2000. It is part of the School of Computer and Communication Sciences (I&C). The main activities of LASEC are research and education on the security of communication and information systems, cryptography, and applications.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

[Mar 20, 2012]	Pouyan Sepehrdad's paper "Recursive Diffusion Layers for Block Ciphers and Hash Functions" cowritten with Mahdi Sajadieh, Mohammad Dakhilalian, and Hamid Mala, was selected among the three Best Papers of the FSE'12 workshop.
[Mar 20, 2012]	Alexandre Duc received one of the three awards for the Keecak-analysis contest from the designers of this algorithm at FSE 2012. His work was done together with Jian Guo, Thomas Peyrin and Lei Wei.
